Dominic Gargiulo, IV, M.D.

Dominic J. Gargiulo, D.O. is currently serving as a full-time pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Manning Family Children’s Hospital New Orleans, LA. He is an Associate Professor of Orthopedics in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, LSU Health Sciences Center. Dominic studied at the University of Colorado as an undergraduate, then received his medical degree from the A.T. Still University, Kirksville, MO. Dominic completed his orthopedic surgical residency in Detroit, Michigan, through Michigan State University. He also completed a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Dominic is currently the Director of the Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Clinical Fellowship at LSU Health Science Center. Dominic has participated in several NOMMS missions including ones to the Dominican Republic and Guayaquil Ecuador. He has also served Habitat for Humanity as a site physician, Garden City, MI, and Community Health Assessments, Atlantis, South Africa. Dominic is excited and very proud to be part of the NOMMS family and to share the mission experiences with the patients we help, as well as with the other mission volunteers.
